Bright and early on Tuesday morning we met at Ravanelli’s for the Rotary meeting breakfast. We were the keynote speakers so it was a little intimidating that six kids were going to talk in front of everyone. There were not that many people there as usual so that made us feel a little bit better. We laid our business cards on every table. Before breakfast was served we all mingled and talked with professionals in our community. After breakfast, we had the vocation done by Pastor Mark Maynard. He made a parallel between us and unopened hot wheels. We have this good news and we hide it. We make ourselves look like perfect people, Christians, whoever. But what is the point if we cannot come out of our packaging and share the joy. I thought it was a very good message and I enjoyed it a lot. We then started presenting. Everyone did really well. I talked about Mrs. G and how thankful we are for her, through the good and bad, we have all been there for each other. I also talked about my biggest challenge, the business plan. After all of the students wrapped up, Mrs. G spoke for awhile on a shortcut to success. It was a very pleasant morning. Everyone did super good and I am proud of us for being able to speak in front of all of those people. Since we got out late, I went back to the school and worked on my multi-genre paper for over two hours. Morning well spent.
