Altered Grounds Outdoor Services Owner Josh Hickam started his business with one lawn mower and has evolved over 15 years to providing professional landscaping, installing swimming pools, fountains, outdoor kitchens, covered patios, essentially front and backyard makeovers. Josh hosted CEO at his own house on his back yard patio. Josh's passion for life and his genuine and honest demeanor inspired students. He told students to stay hungry and to always be thinking of ways to make oneself better. He talked about his team of people, the importance of their relationships and developing trust within their team. Josh told students they will get lemons in life, but they have to learn to make lemonade and make things better OR be bitter. Josh encouraged students to be the star of their own movie and add music to their movie.

Thank you, Josh, for sharing your back yard patio and your time with CEO students. We appreciate your support and investment in CEO. Thank you also for the Panera Bread pastries and the portable heater.
