Kirstyn Martin joined CEO because she heard really good results about the program. The CEO program has taught her so much about managing a business and being a business owner. She plans to pursue her cosmetology license and open her own studio in the future. Kirstyn has been a member of the Granite City High School Marching Warriors Junior Varsity Band, and is active in helping the Varsity Marching Band with band competitions. She attends Calvary Life Church and is a student leader in the youth group. Kirstyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is so happy to have been in this amazing program and she can’t wait to see how CEO changes other high school students in the future!

Final Reflection by Kirstyn Martin
I never thought I’d be writing my final reflection for this amazing class. CEO has taught me so many amazing life lessons. I wish every student could have the opportunity to take CEO! When Mrs. Greenwald first approached me about CEO, I was actually very scared because I've always been a quiet girl who sits, watches and doesn’t like to make conversation. But since my freshman year, she’s asked me every year, if I’m going to be in CEO. When signing up for the class, I was really nervous but with lots of convincing I asked my friend to join. I then knew, it would bring me out of my shell.

Out of the millions of things I've learned in CEO, I've learned to be loud, be confident, ask questions, work hard, and finally nobody cares about your storm!! Don’t complain just do it!
