🍊 MEET THE BOARD MEMBER MONDAY 🍊
This week, we’re excited to introduce our Granite City CEO Vice Chair, Jade Heuer!

Jade was born and raised in Granite City and is a proud Granite City High School alumna. She was also a student in the Granite City CEO program during the 2018–2019 school year, giving her a unique perspective as someone who has experienced firsthand just how impactful CEO can be.

After high school, Jade went on to graduate from McKendree University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Today, she serves as a Chi Alpha Missionary Associate at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and also works at Target.

For Jade, serving on the CEO Board is personal. The values, work ethic, confidence, and interpersonal growth she gained through her own CEO experience inspired her to come back and invest in the next generation of creative thinkers, leaders, and hardworking students. 🧡

One message Jade hopes students take with them is:

✨ Never take the CEO experience for granted. There is always something new to learn — even in areas where you may feel like you already know everything. Strive to be a lifelong learner, listen to different perspectives, and recognize that even disagreement can be an opportunity for growth.

And when Jade isn’t working or serving others, you’ll probably find her talking about her love for Snoopy, showing off videos of her cats, or wishing she was eating some delicious international food. 🐾🌎

We are so grateful to have a former CEO student now helping lead the program as our Vice Chair.

🧡 Thank you, Jade, for giving back to the program that helped shape you and for investing your time, perspective, and heart into the future of Granite City CEO!
