🧡 Meet the Board Member Monday! 🧡
Today we’re highlighting Andrea Shelton, Secretary of the Granite City CEO Board!
Andrea is the Social Media Director at Calvary Life Church, where she manages social media and content, serves with the youth ministry, helps plan events, and occasionally preaches and teaches.
A lifelong Granite City native and Granite City CEO alum, Andrea says the program completely changed the trajectory of her life. CEO taught her the importance of showing up well, communicating professionally, building relationships, and recognizing the opportunities available right here in our community.
Serving on the board gives Andrea the chance to help today’s students experience the same confidence, connections, and growth CEO gave her.
đź“ť Her advice to CEO students:
“Always take the note. You never know which sentence someone says today will be the one you need five years from now.”
🌲 Fun Fact: Andrea and her husband, Bret, love traveling and hiking. In the past year, they’ve visited five national parks — including four during one 10-day car-camping road trip!
We’re thankful to have Andrea helping invest in the next generation of Granite City leaders! 🧡
