On Wednesday, September 30th, we were visited by Chris Hankins, the CEO of IBEW 309. We all enjoyed hearing about how different his role is as a CEO of a union for the past four years, representing 1,300 members.
Their training center is located off Highway 157, near the Home Depot. He spoke about how we all should take responsibility, even when itβs hard. He also told us how as a leader of a union, you need to put yourself in your employees shoes, willing to be open to others opinions and ideas.
We all appreciated his advice, and enjoyed his visit
