On Monday October 5th the Granite City CEO program visited the Granite City school board office. Chris McCullough provided a unique insight on how he creates the menus and how he picks which food to swap and put in for that month. He also gave us a tour around the school board office and introduced us to many vital people that helps provide students with food, supplies, and transportation for kids who need it. It was very fascinating learning what all these people do on a daily basis.
Of course, the student’s favorite part was when he provided breakfast for the students which was a delicious sausage cheese biscuit with a drink of milk or juice. He also brought out strawberry milk which was a special request of the students.
