About Me

Eugene Williba has been a three sport athlete at Granite City High School for football, basketball, and track. His work ethic earned him a varsity letter in football all four years along with being selected 1st Team (senior year) and 3rd Team (junior year) All-Southwestern Conference. During his senior year, he was named the MVP, and was honored to receive the prestigious Keith Lucas Award. Mrs. Lignoul, his Social Studies teacher, selected Eugene for her Personal Choice award. Eugene was a member of the 2017 Homecoming Court and the 2018 May Court. Socks for the Sole is inspired by his passion for fashion. Eugene’s future plans include attending Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, majoring in criminal justice and pursuing a career path in law enforcement for the federal government.
