Jordan Stermer

About Me

Jordan participates in National Honor Society, Varsity Club, and was a two year varsity wrestler at Granite City High School. He is the inaugural Mr. CEO as a contestant in the high school Mr. Warrior pageant. On the weekends Jordan likes flying RC planes, playing video games, hanging out with friends, and helping people. After high school, he is attending Maryville University to major in Cybersecurity where he is receiving a scholarship to compete on the Counter Strike (a video game) team.

Jordan is starting an innovative begleri business called 1 String. Begleri, from ancient Greece, are small skilled toys used to perform tricks and to focus fidgeting. He has decided to start this because he likes learning new things and has trouble sitting still.

“I cannot believe CEO is almost over for the 2017 school year; I am so happy I took this amazing opportunity of a class. I learned more in this one class then I have from any other class I have taken. Without CEO, I have no idea what track my life would be on. I found what I want to go to college for and where I wanted to go because of this class. I want to thank everybody who has helped me throughout the year including the people who came into talk to us, the people who let us come on awesome business visits, and the CEO board. But I especially, want to thank my mentor Adam Saltsgaver for helping me so much on 1 String. Lastly, I want to thank the most important person, Mrs. Greenwald, for persuading me to take the class that changed my life.”
